Personalising crowdworking websites
Crowdworking is an upcoming business during the last decade, while there is research done to motivational factors and to motivation aspects from the platforms it is almost all connected with gamification. Yet little is done with personalisation. During in-depth interviews (N=7) the aim is to discover how personalisation could motivate and let crowdworkers feel appreciated by their platform.
The design research consists out of two experienceable scenarios. First the current platform and secondly an improved personalised platform. This scenario is there to help understand what the goals of the crowdworkers are, which features are an improvement and how the platform can stimulate the crowdworkers. The results show an improvement in feeling of appreciation and different design improvements that could be made to the crowdworking platforms.
